A Taiwan real estate worker was hailed as a hero after he stopped a psychiatric patient from killing a girl in a Kaohsiung hair salon. The man used a motorcycle helmet and pole to disarm the attacker and held him down until police arrived. The attacker, who was only released from hospital a few days earlier, told police he only committed the crime so he could be locked up as life on the outside was so tough.
