Feingold goes down in last stand

Tea Party candidate Ron Johnson has defeated incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold to become the next senator of Wisconsin.

Feingold was considered one of the most bi-partisan guys in the Senate, teaming up with the likes of John McCain to author campaign finance reform, the McCain-Feingold Act.

But it was his unwavering support for President Obama on issues such as healthcare that ultimately led to his defeat.

Taking over is Johnson, a political novice and successful businessman.
