Pacquiao vs Bradley face-off rigged?

The Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley boxing match this weekend stirred controversy to the world of boxing after Pac Man lost the bout to Bradley 115-113 in a split decision.

Throughout the entire fight, eight-time world champion, Pacquiao consistently landed more punches. The Associated Press had Pacquiao ahead 117 to 111. Most everyone, including Bradley, was convinced Pacquiao had won the match.

Before the final decision was announced, Bradley told Bob Arum, who promoted the fight for both boxers, “I tried hard but I couldn’t beat the guy.” In the split decision, Judge Jerry Roth scored it for Paqiao, 115-113, but judges Duane Ford and C.J. Ross had Bradley winning 113-115, prompting boos from the 14,206 fans at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Saturday’s game marks Pacquiao’s first loss in seven years. Although Pacquiao is entitled to a rematch, this is not necessarily a given. Brokers are saying they may have trouble selling tickets for a Bradley-Paqiao rematch in November.
