Elton John becomes a dad at age 62

Singer Elton John and partner David Furnish became dads on Christmas Day. It is a first baby for John, 62, and Furnish, 48, who have been together for two decades.

The baby was born to a surrogate mother in California. The birth followed the couple’s attempt to adopt an HIV-positive baby from the Ukraine, which was rejected last year.

    I love NMA and have no problem with you poking fun at people but this is the first video I’ve seen from you that seemed mean and bigoted.

    You could play up stereotypes of gay adoptions for laughs and it would be fine, but it needs to be clear that you’re making fun of the stereotypes rather than the couple adopting a baby. This video include wild anti-gay claims by clergy, Ukranian officials or others so putting Elton and his partner in bondage clothes and having them play with gay Barbie dolls felt totally gratuitous. I don’t know how Taiwan treats gay people but your western audience doesn’t appreciate this.

    This video is humourless, offensive and homophobic. Do you always use such artless stereotypes to portray gay men? Your insensitivity and lack of imagination are shameful. How do you expect the world to view Taiwanese people iif this is the way that you portray others? One YouTube commenter was so disgusted they said they hoped China would invade your country. I dont agree with that, but really you should sack the ‘creative’ writers that came up with this crap. NMA TV sucks!
