Iron Man 3: Made in China – a Disney-Chinese collabo

Iron Man 3 will be made with a Chinese partner, Disney has announced, in Hollywood’s latest effort to tap into the growing Chinese film market. The film will be co-financed by Chinese company DMG Entertainment, which will be responsible for scenes shot in China. DMG will also distribute the film in China. “We know Chinese audiences love Iron Man. So we are going to add Chinese elements and a Chinese story into Iron Man 3,” Stanley Cheung, Disney’s general manager for Greater China, told the BBC. Reboot! RoboCop remake 2013 trailer is here

RoboCop fans are drooling over the franchise’s upcoming 2013 reboot, even though there isn’t even a trailer out yet. Set in a dystopian future, the original 1987 RoboCop film told the tale of Alex Murphy, a slain Detroit cop who is brought back to life when the evil OCP corporation turns him into a crime-fighting cyborg. There is no word on how different the Jose Padiha-directed remake will be, but there is already news of some big changes from the leading man himself. Angry Birds Space hits App Stores

Angry Birds Space, the eagerly awaited sequel to the popular mobile game Angry Birds, was launched this week by Finnish mobile game developer Rovio. The game play in Angry Birds Space is different from the original. Taking the game into space means planets exhibit gravitational fields that alter the course of the birds’ flight. Angry Birds Space also introduces new birds with new powers, including one bird who turns obstacles into ice. The new game aims to capitalize on the popularity of original, which has been downloaded more than 700 million times. It has already shot to the top of the App store charts. ENGLISH:

300: Battle of Artemisia trailer 2013

300: Battle of Artemisia, a follow-up to the epic movie 300, is set to be released in 2013. Details are scant, but the movie is rumored to tell of a giant battle that raged concurrently with the events depicted in 300. The movie will star Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom) and Eva Green of Casino Royale fame. 300: Battle of Artemisia will come hot on the heels of several other epic releases. Part 1 of The Hobbit is slated for release in December, and everybody is clamoring to see Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 3D right now. And of course, Game of Thrones makes a return this April. Abraham Lincoln, the vampire slayer, was destined for greatness. In the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s “Abraham Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter“, Lincoln turns into Van-Helsing-like slayer and was on a mission to slay Lestat, Count Dracula, Nosferatu and Morbius. So step aside Buffy and Blade, Lincoln will show you how it’s done back in the 1800s. The film adaptation, produced by 20th Century Fox and Tim Burton and starred by Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln, is set to be released in June, 2012.

Walden Media has announced it will develop the popular computer video game Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? into a feature-length movie with live actors. Jennifer Lopez has signed on as a producer. Rumors abound that she will also play the red-jacketed super thief, but have not been confirmed. The first Carmen Sandiego game debuted in 1985 as a fun way for kids to learn geography. Players use clues to track the elusive title character and her band of VILE (Villain’s International League of Evil) cohorts through different cities around the globe in hopes to reclaim the national treasures they steal.
